The project took place at SHM's location in Fremont, California, where our team applied a striking red pattern wrap that honors the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year. The design features vibrant red tones with subtle motifs evoking prosperity, energy, and renewal—perfectly timed for the celebrations and aligned with the AFEELA 1's sleek, futuristic aesthetic.
We used Avery Dennison MPI 1105 Printable Wrap Vinyl for the base layer, known for its excellent print quality, conformability, and vibrant color reproduction. This was then laminated with Avery Dennison DOL 1080Z Matte Overlaminate, adding a sophisticated matte finish that enhances depth, protects the graphics from scratches and UV fading, and delivers a premium, low-glare look ideal for showroom and event display.
The wrapped AFEELA 1 made its public debut as part of an activation at Westfield Valley Fair mall in Santa Clara, drawing crowds to experience SHM's vision of intelligent, emotional mobility up close. Photos from the event capture the car on display in the bustling mall environment, with attendees interacting, posing, and soaking in the festive red glow against the vehicle's modern lines. The wrap turned heads, blending cultural celebration with cutting-edge EV design in a seamless way.
